Mitchan Sohonten Miyabi - Hiroshima

This is a rare upscale non-smoking okonomiyaki fine restaurant. Family friendly staff and facilities. There are several table seats and several counter seats to watch the chefs. Great for individuals and groups. The okonomiyaki is of great and consistent quality, and tastes good by itself, without much need for the sauce. They offer a way to serve okonomiyaki on an iron-plated wooden plate to keep it warm. The restaurant offers more than okonomiyaki, including fish dishes, beef, veggies, etc. with great quality and presentation on a dark flat stone plate or a white ceramic plate. Such options are good for foreign visitors who are new in Japan and have not become accustomed to the dining room style of okonomiyaki.

I was so glad to find a non-smoking restaurant of okonomiyaki. Good for family, single or group. Service was also great!

Course menu was okay, the signature dish in the course was really bad and cheaply made. The all you can drink was a joke, it was like drinking water.

The classic original Okonomiyaki-Chain. If you visit Hiroshima, this is a must. You won't regret it!

Comfortable location and delicious food. Very cheap.
