Guǒ Zi Gōng Fáng タニヤマ

There is a famous specialty called "Ijuin Manju" available in this area near Ijuin Station. Many famous people such as Takashi Nagabuchi, Mika Nakashima, and Izumi Inamori hail from Ijuin town. Ijuin Koko also occasionally comes to Ijuin Station for radio broadcasts. The town is tied to the Ijuin family, who served as models for the manga "Haikara-san ga Toru." In front of JR Ijuin Station stands a statue of the fearsome warrior Shimazu Yoshihiro, who famously charged into the heart of Tokugawa Ieyasu's army at the pivotal Battle of Sekigahara. Ijuin Station is the fourth stop from Kagoshima Chuo Station, the final stop on the shinkansen line, and is just 17 minutes away. While Ijuin Manju is sold at Kagoshima Airport and Kagoshima Chuo Station, the freshly made, fluffy texture of Ijuin Manju is particularly delicious near Ijuin Station at the local confectionery shop.

The fresh chocolate roll cake, milky roll cake, and Mont Blanc roll cake are all incredibly delicious.
