Tuxer Ferner Haus - Hintertux

One of the best organized mass restaurants in the Alps. There Is one part restaurant with Full service but the Food Is more or less same as in self service part. Decent wine list.

Yes,they are skiing on the glacier it's sort of surreal with temperatures in the upper 20's centigrade huge restaurant geared to the thousands in the winter but now rather empty and a bit lonely.

The view is unbeatable, the waiters are friendly and they complied with special requests, too. Prices are reasonable for the unique location of 2660 meters.

We were hungry after visiting of the Glacier so we decided to have a late lunch in self serving part of this restaurant. Service was quick, meal was average - no exceptional no bad.

We visited after doing summer skiing in August. Apre skiing.Food was good but not great. Wine and beer were very good!Views were magnificent. Great place to have lunch or drink after skiing. Also non skiers can visit here easily.Service was excellent and quick. Friendly too
