A 1 Pizza - Hinsdale

We came up from Greenfield, MA to go to Walmart. We stopped at the liquor outlet and noticed this restaurant across the way. We realized we should probably eat before hitting up Walmart so we stopped and let me tell you, we were not disappointed! We got a medium extra cheese pizza, sausage pizza, shrimp basket, mozzarella sticks, and jalapeño poppers. Everything was absolutely amazing. The fried shrimp was some of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to come back some day!

Very rude guy who takes the orders. I tried to order a salad and he was so rude and dismissive I said never mind and I walked back out the door. We have gotten food here 3 times and he has always been cocky and rude but today sealed the deal. We will NEVER go back and will be telling our fellow neighbors.

Friendly staff. The fried pickles are delicious. Quick service. Girlfriend got the steak and cheese grinder and said it was excellent.

This place is awful, just keep on heading to Brattleboro or up to keene if in need of pizza. It's the kind of pizza place that when you ask for a side of marinara with a calzone, it's a meat based sauce. Watching my wife choke that up was wonderful, thanks for the memories A-1!

The hostess went to check on my pizza, and I overheard a disagreement in the kitchen. I clearly heard someone say, “Well, I didn’t make it, and I don’t care about him. He’ll just have to wait while it cooks.” Eventually, the hostess told me my pizza was in the oven and would be done in five minutes. However, another 15 minutes passed before my order finally arrived, totaling a 50-minute wait. When it finally got to me, I was asked if I had only ordered one pizza, and I wasn’t offered any form of compensation or even an apology for the long wait. The entire experience felt deeply disrespectful to me, my wife, and my child, especially considering the dismissive behavior I witnessed from the kitchen staff. It truly saddens me to write this, as A1 used to be my favorite family restaurant in Hinsdale and Brattleboro. If you value respect and family, I strongly recommend against ordering from A1 Pizza in Hinsdale, NH.
