Neatly tucked restaurant in the Derby street mall. The food is tasty and the spread of Japanese drinks is awesome. Loved the crab sushi and matcha maker. Will definitely visit again. Watch for the timings as they close little early on weekdays. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I tried Nomai for the first time tonight and I’m so glad that I did; I already want to go back! The vibe of the restaurant is calm and very aesthetic (right down to the amazing wallpaper in the bathroom- seriously, you gotta check it out) and the service was excellent. Our server, Kylie, was very attentive and had great recommendations. My family and I ordered a bunch of shared plates, and I enjoyed all of the different bao buns. And I could tell that even the things I didn’t try were good just from how they looked. I look forward to going back and trying some more things. Best dining option at Derby Street, in my opinion.
