Clay's Sapelo Station - Hinesville

I was a little apprehensive when we pulled up because of how quaint it appeared, but we decided to try it out anyway. Turns out, it was a fantastic decision! The staff was friendly, the food was great and it was only a five minute detour off of I95. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

What a great discovery! If you ever are driving down I 95 between Savannah in Jacksonville, you should definitely stop in to this great local place. Wife and i discovered it by accident as we were traveling South. This place is all character! And on top of that the food was excellent!! Wife had the low country boil w/snow crab and I had pecan encrusted fish with possibly the best coleslaw I've ever had. If you get a chance to meet Clay, let him give you some history of the building and the surrounding area. This was a wonderful experience! PS this is a very local place. We might have some of the first tourists in awhile. The staff couldn't have been friendlier!

Upscale food with a down-home atmosphere. Cozy and welcoming. Menu had lots of options, plus specials. Extremely friendly owner and staff!

Clay goes out of his way to prepare some of the best seafood you'll ever eat! He provides a friendly atmosphere, courteous service, Sports Bar, Fresh Seafood! I could go on and on but I'd recommend you try it for yourself.

We visited on Sunday evening with our daughter. She ordered the boom boom shrimp tacos, while my wife and I shared a grilled grouper dinner. Every dish was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We highly recommend this restaurant!
