The Gurkha Durbar Nepalese Restaurant

This is a charming restaurant with delicious food. The dishes are freshly prepared, and the table service is outstanding. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant. Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. There is a steep step at the entrance, but the rest of the space is flat and the chairs are comfortable. Definitely worth a visit!

I should have just picked up an Indian ready meal from the Co-op across the street; it would have been better and much cheaper. Everything—main dish, sides, and bread—was mediocre at best. The rice was just okay, but that's about the only highlight. Considering the size of the main dish for the price, it felt like a total rip-off. I really don’t understand the rave reviews this place gets! I would recommend avoiding it. Service: Takeout, Meal type: Dinner.
