Turpin's And Grill

This restaurant is a beautiful, peaceful, and roomy spot with incredible food and excellent staff. The homemade meat pie was delicious and packed with meat. They also offer a great variety of beers and ales.

My family and I walked into the restaurant on Tuesday evening and were greeted by a young girl and the amazing smell of food. We had a table for 6 guests and despite the restaurant filling up quickly (it was 7:30 pm on a Tuesday), we received our food and service promptly and professionally. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant! I had made a reservation for a party of 11 to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. The food was average at best and served cold. When my daughter mentioned that her burger tasted off, I tried it myself and discovered that the minced beef was clearly spoiled and had a disgusting smell. The service was also subpar, as the birthday cake was just placed haphazardly on our dirty table by a member of staff who then walked away without a word. I will definitely not be coming back here and am very displeased with the overall experience.

Pasta was dry yet too oily! Staff weren’t attentive and when I asked about the sauce miah was rude, we just left pudding and went home. Btw it was our anniversary so thanks

We booked a table here knowing we had a 90 minute window. Food was ordered within 15 minutes but we had to wait 45 minutes for it to arrive despite the restaurant being less than half full. When it did arrive, the food was very good with generous portions. I ordered the char grilled tuna in a red Thai curry sauce. Whilst the tuna was lovely it was overpowered by the sauce! We will visit again but we'll make sure we have plenty of time.
