Precious Stone - Hinckley and Bosworth

I used to rely on this restaurant for Chinese food, but not anymore. Tonight, all of our dishes were ruined by an excessive amount of salt. It was completely inedible.

We were a little hesitant about ordering takeout on such a busy night, but Precious Stone exceeded our expectations. We placed our large order as soon as they opened for a 6:30pm pick-up. Our food was hot and ready on time. The woman who took our order over the phone was very friendly and efficient. The dishes we ordered were all delicious, with the chicken satay being a standout for me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I am surprised that this restaurant does not have more positive reviews, to be honest. We absolutely adore this Chinese restaurant. Every time we have eaten here with friends or recommended it to others, they have also raved about it. The exterior of the building may be run down and uninviting, and the waiting area is always freezing, but the food is unmatched in this area.

Food good, but allows all and sundry to throw wasted food and packaging on the pathways and on property, they know who does it and continue to let them do it as long as they are taking money.....this invites pests including rats and the locals are fed up.

Placed an order over the phone, fifteen minutes later my order was ready for collection. Everything was well packed and I was given complimentary prawn crackers and fortune cookies. My only criticism was the lack of Covid protections. Staff were waring masks, but too many customers were inside and were not wearing masks.
