Tramonto - Himare

Nice view, but bad road, not clean, old furniture....

Absolutely the worst place I 've eaten in last 20 and more years visiting the beautiful coast of south Albania. The food was simply unmasticable, the so called 'saganaki crabs ' was a joke of presumed 'specialised ' cook and the shrimps were like gelatine taken directly from fridge after months or years of frozen life. The funny thing is that I asked the 'part time waiter and part time clloun ' since the beggining that, if the shrimps were not fresh I would order something else instead and he was swearing that all the sea food prepared is caught fresh from the Himara bay, what a liar and bump. Dear albanian, english, italian, dutch, german and polish friends: do not waste your time and money (this place is also very expensive for albanian standarts) in this so called pseudo restaurant Tramonto, do not go there. There are so many nice places to eat in Himara, do not be fooled by the view.

Intimate location and spectacular view. Hard to reach but it is worth it for an intimate and evocative dinner. Home cooking with fresh fish, but the price is too high for the local standard. The wine of the house to avoid, the desserts are missing.

Quality location with an awesome view. Best wine selection in town and the best sunsetspot. Very friendly and Good english speaking service.

Very nice Restaurant with the best View in (and of) the whole City. Great good and nice people serving you. Definitly worth driving up the kind of bad road!!
