Bidrage med feedbackWe had a tremendous dinner before we went to the movies. Tapas is in the same mall as Cinema 10. My wife loved the lobster thermidore and some kind of raspberry salad. I had alligator with a Cajun dipping sauce...really great. Then I had short ribs, mashed potatoes with a mushroom gravy. Terrific. Deep fried chocolate won tons for dessert. Best dinner we had our entire week on the island. Full bar too.
That was probably the finest meal of my life. My entire family felt that every dish was spectacular. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and each dish is a work of art. I had a seafood dish with a lobster sauce and my husband's venison and sauce were indescribably delicious. My heartfelt thanks to the chef artist and we will DEFINITELY return as often as we can.
The highlight of our dining experience on Hilton Head Island was Tapas Restaurant. We were a party of four and loved everything we ordered. The She-crab soup was outstanding and a dish called Greek Shrimp were standouts. We loved the Lobster Thermidore and Shrimp Parthanon. It 's a cozy restaurant and we got to meet the chef/owner who was kind enough to explain some of her techniques for the incredible sauces. My husband loved his veal antonio. Not a touristy restaurant. Creme Brulee and chocolate pecan spring rolls for dessert were just wonderful
Fantastic cuisine and reasonably priced. Chef Ardis Matthew was featured in Bon Appetit Magazine. Definitely a local’s hangout, try the wild mushroom ravioli, shrimp and scallops analisa, pear pecan salad, and lobster cake with sweet potato french fries. Incredible sauces. After eating a lot of tourist food , we wound up going back 3 times. The best.
