Red Fish - Hilton Head Island

A wonderful ambience we both had one of the seafood specials on the menu which were both excellent service was prompt and the ambience was really great. We enjoyed live music : piano player: and a breeze coming in from the open door. The black bean soup appetizer was one of the best we've had!

Great dinner at Red Fish. We are from the Restaurant Week menu and I actually diverted from my usual sea bass. I had the salmon and my partner had the flounder. Both were excellent. The crab and corn chowder was amazing. The piano music was a fabulous addition and the service provided by Lacey was great (but it always is! .

Staff was very attentive and ambience was nice except paper covering the linen tablecloths was a distraction and needed crayons. Food was surprisingly disappointing with lovely piece of salmon spoiled by very salty glaze which permeated each bite. The 16 ounce rib eye was also a disappointment, looking more like a strip steak. It was cooked to perfection but the steak knife was no match for its toughness.

Experience in a Saturday night: good food and service but the sound level was too high to enjoy the meal. Don't need to add music, although the entertainer was fine. But live music just made everyone shout to the point we couldn't ever hear the person across the table. Will only come during the week when it's not so crowded and noisy.

Red Fish is an excellent restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We had fried oysters as an appetizer and wedge salad we split and both of us also order vegetable strudel All was delicious and a lot of food. Wine was priced reasonably . Overall 5stars
