That means you should know before the time that this comfort, and not great pizza, is what you pay. $20 for a large cheese pizza is extremely high compared to most pizza places. The pizza itself is not bad. Cheese and sauce are good. The dough is rolled by a roll instead of being handcuffed, so it is extracted from the texture that you would normally expect from NY-style pizza. I could understand their prices more when the pizza was excellent and/or they had a big dune in the room, which led to more overhead costs. They serve fine pizzas from what is basically a big closet, only with walking service. You should be able to do better for the money they pay. We order Jakes Pizza again, but only if we are pressed for time and/or want something simple and convenient.
Very disappointed with this place. Gotten Pizza from here every summer since 2014 never had such a problem with pizza. I never write reviews, but after I built almost $30 on my own 16 cake, I saw that after I opened the pizza box. Half of it should be a meat lover pizza, the other half just pineapples. I think the worker would notice that a quarter of pizza is completely covered with sausage and try to spread it, but I don't think so. They did not even honor the discount for Sea Pine's owner when I asked. They said they didn't make the discount here, which isn't true. Probably my last time will buy pizza from here, although it is the most convenient place to go
I think I have lunch better than the $48 for two pizzas here. Pizza was burned and terrible. No one should eat pizza here. Several other pizza places to try on the island.
Have you ever eaten a pizza? Have you ever eaten anything from Chef Boyardee? Bland Sauce. Bland cheese. Blandwurst. Bland, bland, bland. And unexpectedly soft. Maybe even a little sugar in it. Large for toddlers, very young children and perhaps older people from the Middle West who remember the chow they have sustained through depression. Adults who had a good pizza will be disappointed. A whole pizza comes in a pure brown pizza box. No name. No phone number. Just a generic brown box. Obviously they are not proud of their food and are not looking for repetition. If you do not try to pay attention to the limited diet of grandma or baby, a better bet Guiseppi in the Sea Pines Center is. All that is said, most of this pizza is probably consumed by tourists who are either older or travel with adolescents. The children will get up late, down at the Salty Dog, and not interested in eating something that is even remotely sharp. It's probably perfect for them. PERFECT.
Got meat lovers pizza for $20. Was it worth $20? No. Was it good pizza? For sure. Was it the best pizza I've ever had? No
