This is my first review on Google, but I just felt like I finally needed it, as this was over for a long time. Short n sweet bakery is my place for breakfast, lunch and dessert! Recommend the chicken bacon Ranch salad of herbs roasted chickens Panini. All right. Macrons are the best in Hilo! No, where else compares, they have so many flavors and choices. Lilikoi cheesecake is also simply amazing, just a few of my faves when I stop by. And now I come to this little jewel for JAHRE, I have been saying since about 2014 maybe, and one thing they have is CONSISTENCY. The food is always good, always fresh and always the same thing I love! Love support local! A must if you are in the downtown of Hilo. I live about 45 minutes away, but it is always worth the trip for me and my family. You helped me with a family wedding a few months ago. Everything was perfect and the bride was thrilled! Stop by and try to thank you later.
They made my wedding cake beautiful. I have Lilikoi filling up and pog down and lilikoi Buttercream. It was so good!
Great service and super delicious fresh pastries. the roasted coconut shortbread cookies. Fresh salads, sandwiches, coffee drinks and some delicious breakfast sandwiches make this place a pleasure.
Flipping RAD LITTLE BAKERY! We were lucky enough to be there on Sunday, which afforded us the only on Sunday amazing sweet bread French toast. We followed that up with a grilled PB&J, a light and fluffy not-too-cream-cheesy iced cinnamon roll, and a latte. Everything was AWESOME! If there’s anything for constructive criticism it was the latte was a little watery, but we’re from Oregon where espresso is god so that could just be regional. Later on we’ve got a homemade Oreo that is sure to be killer. If you come here, don’t miss the grilled PBJ!! *please pardon the photos, everything was taken mid-meal when we’d realized we we’re so stoked we were destroying our food
