L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - Hilo

The prices are high, the service is unfriendly, and the tables are not clean.

We love L&L- best mac salad and decent portions, especially the meat. Too bad they have next to no seating in the food court area, especially when a third of the tables were reserved for a party? Also, they should include easily accessible cleaning products for guests to clean/sanitize tables before or after use- we asked the workers and they gave us paper towels sprayed with something. Be mindful that parking is usually full so if it's raining hard prepare to get soaked.

The Hawaiian plate was quite enjoyable. It included macaroni salad, steamed rice, chicken, and beef. Both the beef and chicken were soft, tender, and juicy.

The prices and portion sizes are quite reasonable. The counter staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The food was of good quality.
