Yaya's Place Mexican - Hillsboro

Well we had got there at 2:15, and walked in kind of a side door. The lady greeted us and took us to our table we ordered our food and they brang us out some chips and salsa that were great. Then they bring our food I had beef enchiladas they were great. My wife had the chicken tostadas she said they were the best born and raised in Arizona I know she knew what she was talking about We noticed we were the only ones in the restaurant. They were great and really nice people. As we were walking out the door the front door . We realized that they had closed at 2:00. But they served us anyway, we had no idea that they closed and they did not say a word. I would recommend this place to anyone. Authentic Mexican food and authentic Hispanic hospitality.

The food was really good. Got a gorditas plate that had 3 gorditas cooked crispy with meat, lettuce, tomatoes, rice and beans. Was worth it!

1st time to go here and loved! Great youngsters and food was Awesome. And place decor and such is Unique but reminded me of one of my Aunts old homes and I loved the style

I love this place. The food was so delicious and our waitress was awesome. And it's in the most amazing little town. Yaya's definitely gets two enthusiastic thumbs up ???? ????

The service leaves much to be desired, which is disappointing because the food is quite good. The owner should realize that attentive service and friendliness are crucial. Each time we visit, we notice that the restaurant is staffed mainly by young individuals, including the cooks, with no adult supervision in sight. The young girl at the register wasn't very pleasant, and it took 25 minutes for us to receive just a bowl of menudo and two tacos.
