Chaat Cafe - Hillsboro

My husband is half Pakistani and we have had little luck finding any Pakistani restaurants in Portland metro area. Until now! This place turned out to be a wonderful surprise. We ordered the palak paneer, samosa Chaat, naan, and mango lassi and it was all outstanding. Fresh, hot, perfectly spiced, fluffy naan, sweet mango lassi, and the Chaat had excellent flavors. The food’s amazing. Got the Karachi gosht, Malai kofta and Samosa chaat. Definitely try the KULFI. It’s the winner. It’s not a fancy place, but the quality of the food is great. And the owner is a doll.

Would've loved having this go-to place in the neighborhood, but what we got for “curry” is very little paste with TONS of OIL. Disappointing.

Ordered lamb wrap and samosas. Samosas were not hot and very oily. Like they had been fried 15 mins before I got there (which was 5 mins before my posted arrival time online). The lamb wrap was a bit soggy and the meat was tough and flavorless. Hillsboro needs a good Indian wrap spot, but to my dismay this is not it. Cook/cashier was not pleasant and cooking conditions looked very dirty and unkept.

Ordered a vegetarian dish for delivery and it had chicken piece in it. Terrible.
