Burger King - Hillsboro

I ordered a Whopper with BBQ sauce and onion rings, and it was just as I had hoped. It was excellent!

They consistently get your order wrong and often shortchange you. At this Burger King, you won't get your meal the way you want it. Consider yourself warned!

Everything I tried was delicious, except for the bun, which had a slightly burnt flavor. I also ordered 8 fingers and 8 nuggets, but instead received 16 fingers.

This is likely the best McDonald's and Burger King in the city. The staff who take your orders are generally friendly, and many recognize me when I arrive. Food is usually served in a timely manner, and the dining area is typically clean. However, they often face staffing shortages, and during the winter months, the dining room is kept quite cool (around 62-64°F). They recently reactivated their soda fountain, but it's frequently out of ice and various drink flavors. While it's not without its flaws, I still prefer this location over the other Burger King and McDonald's in Hillsboro.

When we visited, the restaurant was quite busy. They only accept one coupon at a time through the drive-thru. I noticed that large cups of water cost a dollar here, while other Burger Kings sell them for just 25 cents. We had to go inside to use our second coupon. Although it took a little time because of the crowd, the staff was efficient and kept things moving. Overall, they handled the situation well.
