Bidrage med feedbackThis is a small takeout restaurant with affordable prices. It appears to be a family-run establishment that serves freshly made, home-cooked food. We have been enjoying our meals from there for years. Ordering over the phone is quick and we don't have to wait long for our food. The woman who usually takes our orders seems shy and reserved but very kind. Overall, it's a great option for a small, family-owned business.
This takeout restaurant offers generous portion sizes. However, the woman working behind the counter always appears unhappy and unwelcoming. Despite this, the food is decent for the price.
We had a great experience with the Chinese food from this restaurant. We ordered delivery tonight, and we have been using this restaurant for years. The quality is still as good as ever, and the prices are reasonable. The delivery usually takes 45 minutes or less, but you can also collect your order. Our favorite dishes to order are the deep-fried shredded beef, chicken balls sweet and sour, char siu pork, and egg fried rice. We highly recommend trying them out!
Nothing special about the food. It was all very average, the usual stuff you see on a million Chinese takeaway menus anywhere in the country. I'm sure that with very little effort, better food could be found locally. My big grievance with this place is not about the food, but the miserable, miserable woman who's job it is to welcome and serve the customers as they order their (quite expensive) dinner. How can anyone go through life being so glum? It doesn't matter what you say to her, or how much you try and instigate a conversation, she remains in the same miserable, depressive, melancholy state from the moment you walk up to the counter until the moment you open the door and leave. How is this good for business? Because I live locally, it would make sense for me to use The New Moon House as my regular Chinese takeaway, but I don't for the reasons I have mentioned. I am happier driving a couple of miles to an alternative takeaway, where I am greeted by my first name and a smile. That's what I'm talking about.
Good little take away Chinese. Food is good and made to order. This means there can sometimes be a wait They do a good soup as well as good salt and pepper squid.
