The restaurant is located near the Unterbacher See and the existing guest park “the downhill” directly on a forest path there. It is a sunny spring day, so we can get to appetite sooner arrive and turn a round. When you enter the restaurant you feel set in Grandma's living room. The tables covered with fabric napkins, cutlery and glasses will bring you back to the restaurant. We are kindly welcomed by the lady of the house, the wardrobe hanged and we get our table for four people. The number of guests on this Sunday is manageable so that we feel exclusively served. The hostess and hostes will bring and explain the food in the course of the day. We come as guests and go as friends. Service cannot be better. So we focus on the essential – the MENÜ for 39,00 €. Perfect evening with friends with great service from siblings operator (Mother is also included) with very good food and suitable drinks. All freshly prepared the price has been worth everything. Quality!! We like to come back. Note on the edge: Unfortunately, the parking situation is somewhat difficult and the restaurant is only accessible via a long-drawn staircase.
First visit! We were very happy. The support of the hosts is personal and very accommodating. Our dishes were freshly prepared by the boss, individual wishes were immediately accepted. The dessert was also individually compiled. I don't experience that much. The beer has rarity and is from a private brewery. Very delicious. The ambience inside is original and has real character. The air could be better in some places. I'd put a new carpet. We'll definitely be back until soon.
We were very excited about how fresh and tasteful everything was. The portions are very good and the ambience is like on holiday. Price performance is top. The service was very friendly and the new owners were very friendly. I can only recommend it!
We came to this cozy restaurant spontaneously on the Good Friday and we were warmly welcomed and hosted by the owner. The food had a good quality and the service was perfect and really very friendly. It should also be mentioned that children are welcome there. There were pens and paper for painting, as well as a few books and games. We like to come back. Thank you
