Beelows - Highland Park

Food was meh. Caesar salad was dry and what little dressing was there was not good. Pasta with vodka sauce was bland. Had to ask for cheese just for flavor. Forgot husbands french onion soup. He said filet and lobster were fantastic, but was almost $100. Key lime pie was great.

The service, food, and ambiance at this restaurant are excellent!

The restaurant is outdated. The reception was unprofessional and lacking overall. Our server was very nice. Unfortunately, her professionalism and attention to detail was nonexistent. She had a strong cigarette odor. Our table location was next to a door leading to the outside seating area. There was a draft coming under the door that completely froze our feet, and quickly made our food cold. We have been to their other location many times, and had great experiences!

Eating was good, but our waiter seemed to forget us. three tables appeared after us and had drinks and appetizers before we got our drinks (the ones were ordered) after we finally got our drinks, we asked to order. had to wait when the waiter had someone else drink on his tablet. he said he had returned after 10 minutes. I've been here before and the service and the food was great, I guess everyone has a bad night.

Love Beelow's. Food is great and drinks are very good and not too small. The only issue is the service is sometimes lacking. But, always a good experience.
