Bidrage med feedbackVisit twice in our week stay so we must have been happy with the food. Do not be put off by it’s aged look inside as the food is good. One of the best onion rings I have tried. Traditional pub menu and drinks. Easy access and parking with outside seating as well. Worth a try if in the area. Please like if this helped.
We decided to call last minute on a busy Friday evening, seeking an alternative to dining at our disappointing hotel in the village. The difference in experience could not have been more noticeable (take note, Roy Bridge!). Despite being crowded, the restaurant was very accommodating and quickly found us a table. The staff were apologetic for any delays in service due to their busyness, but we were happy to wait. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The owner was also very welcoming.
During our stay at Bunroy caravan site, we were only 500m away from the Stronlossit Inn. We decided to have dinner there and I ordered haddock chips while my wife, who is gluten intolerant, requested the same dish without the batter due to the lack of a gluten-free option on the menu. The kitchen staff accommodated her dietary needs by serving the fish on a bed of new potatoes, peas, and carrots, which she found to be delicious. I also enjoyed my haddock chips. It is worth mentioning any food intolerances as the restaurant seems to be more flexible than the menu indicates.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The local dishes were delicious and the chocolate clementine dessert was to die for! We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning soon. Don't miss out on trying the goat cheese dish.
We had a lovely lunch at the Inn today. The soup was fabulous! We thought the prices were pretty good too. We were super impressed with how well the two staff members were managing given how busy it was. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. The inn is cosy and comfortable.
