The Blacksmiths Traditional Bar Cantonese Restaurant

Ordered a Chinese for delivery on Sunday 11th December at 1715, said it would arrive around 1820, contacted them at 1845 to which they said the food was on its way. It has now been more than 2 hours since I ordered the food and it still has not arrived. Extremely poor service.

I was extremely disappointed with our meal at this restaurant. The chow mein was dry and had a strange taste, the satay chicken lacked sauce and flavor, and everything was served cold. The price of £44 for our meal was not justified by the poor quality of the food. We decided to try this place after a friend's recommendation, but we will not be returning. The nearby restaurant, Magic Wok, is a much better option. This was a complete waste of money and we will never go back. YUCK!

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this restaurant. I was told it would take an hour for delivery but it ended up taking 2 hours. After multiple calls, my food finally arrived cold and soggy with no flavor. I decided to order from another restaurant, explained the situation, and received fresh food in just 20 minutes. They even took back the order from the original restaurant to show their staff. My advice is to avoid ordering from this place.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.. I called in a delivery at 6.10pm was told it would take up to 1.5hrs which I thought bit excessive but fair enough. After 1 and a half hours tried calling to ask for a update and line was busy 114 phone calls later and my partner 100 phone calls by this point it was 2hr 20mins since I called the order in and with no way of contacting them, I had to drive 10mins to go and ask in person whats going on. They told me it left 10mins ago. I told the woman behind the counter how bad there service is and asked for at least a delivery charge refunded as it was an hour late and I had to drive to find out where my food was. Basically got told were to go, they were so rude its disgusting. After leaving and driving home another 10mins it still took a further 20mins for it actually arrive at this point your wondering do you really want to eat it as has it been spat in, I wouldn't put it past them. The food was rank soggy and cold. Stay away from the place folks don't give your money to them. They are robbing scum!.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was given a delivery time of 45 minutes later (6:45pm). It is now almost 2 hours past that time and my order still hasn't arrived. I tried calling multiple times, but the line was always busy. I understand that weekends can be busy, but it is unacceptable to take orders that can't be fulfilled and not communicate with the customer. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I will not be returning or recommending it to anyone else. I feel like I wasted £40.
