It's not nice on the outside, very nice inside and food far above everything we've tried here. Must stop between Skye and Edinburgh

Actually, we just wanted to stop for a short time, eat a little bit and go on. The Burger and the Pie we assen were really excellent. The view was impressive. But the waiting period was extremely long and that, although very few guests were present.

Stopped for lunch. Restaurant was fully booked, which is understandable for a very popular tourist destination. What isn't acceptable though, was the very rude, abrasive way we were dismissed by the staff. HE was very rude when there was no need to be. Won't be back.

My meal of Loch Etive Seatrout was amazingly delicious. Everything was perfectly prepared. I would certainly order this again and again!

Good starters. Nearly every main course that was ordered was dry including the fish and venison. Absolutely not worth the prices. The langoustines for nearly 40 euros and were dry, tasted like nothing. Hours after eating one tail we felt sick. We received 3x the amount of wine ordered and had to pay the part. The replacement food was to come under 10 minutes but took 40 minutes. Nice interior and location, unfortunately restaurant underperformed all expectations.
