Jammy Piece - Highland

We had to wait for a table, but the staff kept us updated and we didn't feel ignored. We finally got a table for three people and two dogs. The menu was great and it was hard to decide what to order. I tried the haggis and cheese melt panini, which was surprisingly delicious. The scones were incredibly cheesy and flavorful. Our friend had a plain scone, but the only downside was the jam, which came in a plastic prepack and tasted more like red jelly. It would have been better if they served good Scottish raspberry jam in a small glass dish.

Best meal, cup of coffee, and service that I've received in my trip all over Scotland! I was greeted by friendly staff then served the best cafe mocha I've ever had in my entire life. They have a full espresso setup and the barista has obviously acquired some skills over the years. Then I ordered the traditional Scottish breakfast, vegan style. Vegan haggis, hash browns, potato scone, vegan sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, and toast. Everything on the plate was cooked well and deliciously spiced. I've never had a traditional Scottish breakfast to compare it to, but my local friends said it looked up to par! Wonderful food and wonderful service all whilst the staff was being kind and generous to an unhoused man whom they allowed to sit at a table. Well done, Jammy Piece! You're a shining light in this world.

The cafe is wonderful with excellent staff and incredible food. I adore the Muirtown wrap, and the prices are very reasonable.

What a lovely place to be! We had an amazing breakfast and got a great service! It isn't in the center of inverness but still worthy to visit

Scones are not as good as they used to be and definitely not freshly baked that day.
