Glenuig Inn Bar And Restaurant

This restaurant provided a mediocre experience with a constant emphasis on their eco-friendly practices. The room was average and uninspiring. Breakfast reservations were made for specific time slots despite the restaurant being relatively empty. The food was decent, but I found it amusing that the waitress served tiny, unappetizing scones as if they were a luxury item. The check-in process was handled by a rude and unapproachable staff member who seemed to lack basic social skills, making him unsuitable for a front desk position. Their request for guests to strip the beds before leaving was ignored.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years and today we finally had the chance. There were only 6 customers inside, but the atmosphere was great. The cider and lager were perfect, and we even received a free sausage roll. The staff was great and the surroundings were lovely. We regret not booking an evening meal.

The Glenuig Inn is located overlooking the stunning Glenuig Bay. We visited on a beautiful sunny evening and the views were incredible. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The menu options for both food and wine were impressive for a smaller establishment. We tried the fish and chips, burger, veggie burger, and venison chili, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The desserts were also tasty. We highly recommend stopping by the Glenuig Inn when in this picturesque area of Scotland.

A lovely warm welcome from the minute you walk in our dog too. Tea home made scones were just a delight. Cosy setting with the most amazing views. Would highly recommend.

We came for lunch one day and booked in for dinner a few days later. Both menus were limited but the food was of excellent quality and freshly prepared. Personally I would much prefer it this way than the way many do, where the menu is more extensive, but everything is kept frozen. Specials each day which were great. Wonderfully warm welcome by the staff. Would visit without hesitation.
