Avoch Chippy - Highland

I went for two fish suppers on June 9th, and despite the restaurant being busy, the quality of the food was very poor. The batter on the fish was too thick and burnt, and the chips were pale, soggy, and undercooked. I was very disappointed, as the food is usually good.

We have used this chippy for many years off and on and usually are generally happy with the food. Our last takeout was so disappointing though, it was tasteless and cold and the portion size had decreased significantly. Over all not impressed

After being a loyal customer for years, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of this restaurant. The staff are rude and disrespectful, they throw your order at you without wearing any proper protective equipment like hair nets or aprons. In particular, Gemma is extremely impolite and could benefit from a lesson in manners. I will not be returning, and will now be going to Fortorse for my kebabs instead. It's a shame because the owner is lovely.

We stopped off here and had the best black pudding suppers we have had in years. All the food was cooked to order and was lovely, the chips were excellent.

On a day trip to Channory point to watch the dolphins and visited this Chip shop the food we all had was Amazing it catered for vegetarian's and other food intolerance's the Chicken fillet supper was crazy good the best I have ever had and worth going to the Chip shop for that alone
