Deux Soeurs - Highett (VIC)

Would have given 5 stars, but I like cheesy toast on my onion soup. It just wasn't cheesy. The soup was nice but a bit heavy. My steak was excellent, perfectly cooked. Lovely fries. Cream brulee was lovely. Definitely recommend

It 's sometimes difficult to find an excellent international restaurant within the premises of a neighbourhood hotel. Deux Sources, it 's exactly that... A nice discovery within The Buckingham right over Nepean Highway. I pass by this place every day and never considered stopping by, but a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to treat my wife to a French dinner but didn 't want to travel far. It 's as good as any other restaurant in Melbourne. The food is pretty good and the service is friendly and willing to please.

What a fabulous find in Bayside. White table cloths, bread basket on arrival, fabulous French wine in a warm and inviting dining room. The service was brilliant, attention to detail I have not seen in even some of the high end restaurants. My husband asked for a glass of ice (he and my son like their water super cold) and when the waitress noticed it was empty out came another to our wonderful surprise. This restaurant just kept delivering on all levels followed by flavoursome authentic meals cooked perfectly. In a very friendly manner top service and class all the way. Our 8 year old passed on the kids menu and enjoyed the flavours of real French cuisine. We all had entrees, mains and desert and each dish was impeccable in presentation and taste. This is now our favourite and have been raving about it all weekend to family and friends. Cannot wait to be back!! Last thing the background music was also relaxing and elegant. Perfect evening. Compliments to the Chef and thank you to the wonderful Staff that delivered brilliant service with a smile.

Wanting some French food, but was not keen on going into the city. Went onto google, and stumbled onto deux soeurs, and thought I'd give it a try. Glad I did. This restaurant blew me away. The food was super delicious, well presented and of a very high quality. The service was A . It was an amazing experience and I'm definitely coming back. Highly recommended!!!!
