Small joint in a really old part of south St. Louis. Strange menu incl Monte cristo style hot dogs pb n banana sammy w/ mandatory bacon. Great BBQ chx w/ white BBQ sauce. Service no nonsense rather speedy. Keep an ear out for nighly specials off the grill or smoker. Not much to the setting, but a good menu choice will more than make up for it.

There's a reason this place is on the food network. That reason is the great food! Make sure to try the duck salad! That's delicious. Also they smoke the meats in the back. The ballistic Elvis is probably the best tasting weirdest sandwich out there!

Three of us had the Saturday rib tip special . 2,of the plates had tips consisting mostly of grizzle, cartiledge, and fat. No one checked back with us as to the quality of the meal until much later . They did take the 2 plates off the bill. Third time I've had this special, probably the last.

Disappointed. Went for lunch the food was mediocre and the server was less than friendly! Then was with friends on Saturday and stopped again for a drink. The bartender could not have been less friendly ! Wow! Will not go back ! The whole place makes you feel like they don't want your business and the food was just ok!

Disappointing. We waited about 70 mins to be seated, which was about what they had projected, but it took almost another hour and a half before we got any food. ...2.5 hours after we arrived. The food was dismal. .. Some was burnt so bad I couldn't determine what it was supposed to be. NOT tasty, and not even edible. I've had better at McDonalds.
