Bidrage med feedbackThis place is simply exceptional! There are not many (if any) traditional Irish restaurants in this area, so there is minimal no competition; but they try to be the best of every visit. I can't say good enough here. The staff was always top notch and very personable and I never had a plate with food or a drink that wasn't about what I expected. I eat here at least once if not twice a week and for years. Just eat one of my top locations!
We love this place! We usually sit in the bar area. They have great beer selections and the food is amazing. My husband loves the fish and chip plate, I usually get one of the chicken sandwiches. The batter on the fish and the chicken is light, crispy and delightful. Sooooo good!!!
This restaurant has a well-deserved reputation, both for good food and a relaxed welcoming atmosphere which is at least slightly Irish in flavor. Actually, with their effort they are very Irish. We went on a Friday night and it was not overly packed but the parking lot was full. We tried the Fish and Chips as well as the Reuben sandwich entree. Both portions were excellent and we had plenty without being too much. The beer selection and other mixed cocktail drinks were very diverse, but we'll try those another time. This is a great once-in-a-while spot, and we'll definitely be back!
I had high hopes for this place, and it wasn't terrible. The staff was great. However, the food that I ordered came out so fast that my head spun. And as soon as I started eating it, I understood why. I love me a good shepherd's pie. But, it wasn't even really warm... and it just left something to be desired. I suppose if you like to drink, this is probably a great place to be. But if you're looking for a decent meal, maybe go during the daytime, or consider going somewhere else. Friendly and attentive staff, though, which is where all these stars come from.
This was our first visit to Claddagh in High Point. We sat in the bar area since the main dining area was reserved for a large party. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the poutine for an app. It was good but there's a mapley sweetness to it that you either like or don't. We both ordered the fish and chips. Also good but the fish was heavier on the breading than I prefer. Great little spot. We'll definitely go again to try some of the other items on their menu. Also, if you're interested they have events. Trivia on Mondays, karaoke on Thursdays, and brunch on Sunday. I can't recall the other days but I believe there's something for each day of the week.
