The Globe - High Peak

A great pub that has been vegan for years and years! the homemade burger was beautiful and finally defeated me. the spiral fries not! (hallo) the burger came up with all extras fried wobble, vegan cheese n speck and doubled! many bands ran up and warmed up. sounds like a show! great service and friendly staff. prost!

This place is a must for vegans. everything on their menu is vegan delicious. we had the Sunday roast with sticky toffee pudding as part of a very well appreciated meal deal. great atmosphere, super friendly staff on the main road in the center of glossip.

I have eaten and drunk in the globe since I moved to glossop in October 2020. the beer that is brewed in the spaces is fantastic. the vegan food (and yes I still eat meat) is delicious and fantastic value for money. for my wife and me this pub is a great part of the community. from somewhere to eat after work for a quick drink to a place together. we met friends here. this is not just a pub, it is an experience. thank you toby, theny becca, shane and the whole staff in the globe.

I loved everything about this place. the interior is very old school, but I love the way it feels like you go back to time. the staff was efficient and friendly. eating is incredible value for money. great if you need a quick bite to feel full. the tofu in the chili, homemade chips and pudding options were winners for me. next, I'm in the opposite, I'll get back in.

We took a special journey to Glossop to try this place and were so glad that we did. This place is amazing! There's good outdoor seating that's well spaced and inside has a really good, traditional pub atmosphere. All staff members I spoke to were very nice. The food we had was amazing! If you're vegan, you have to come here. You can get a delicious, filling, meal for under a fiver. If you're not vegan, you have to come here. You can get a delicious, filling, meal for under a fiver. If you're not hungry, the drinks are very reasonably priced here too you can get a bottle of wine for around £10. Amazing. Unfortunately I don't rate the cakes that highly, but the ice cream was divine and I would have that again in a heartbeat! I've seen a couple of reviews saying things like it's a pushy vegan place. I didn't find that at all. My omnivore partner (who granted, will eat anything) also didn't find that, but still left feeling full and happy and stated this was his favourite restaurant of our holiday. Seriously, even if you're not vegan, come with an open mind and give this place a go. If only for the cheap drinks and good atmosphere! Cannot recommend this place enough!
