Olde Hickory Station

I visited this restaurant for the first time and found it located in downtown Hickory, just across the railroad tracks. I seated myself at the bar, where the service was attentive and pleasant. I ordered a waffle topped with berries, along with scrambled eggs, sausage, and coffee. The sausage was particularly delicious, and the potatoes I had on the side were excellent, even though they were an extra charge.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. We opted for a table in the back near the windows during sunset, and it was perfect. The food was outstanding—I tried the chef salad with steak, and this place really knows how to prepare a proper salad! For dessert, I had the chocolate bundt cake while my wife enjoyed the cheesecake. It’s definitely a fantastic spot to visit!

One of the best home-style sit-down restaurants I’ve experienced in the South! This little gem is tucked away in a small town and is located inside an old train station. The wait to get a seat is absolutely worth it, as you’ll be treated to delicious food prepared by skilled cooks. The chicken and biscuits for breakfast are the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter was fantastic, and everything was clean and well-organized.

Amazing food, okay service. The pulled pork sandwich with apple butter BBQ sauce was wonderful. The spices and sweetness of the apple butter barbecue sauce paired with the smoked pork balanced perfectly. The desserts here are amazing. We left with 5different desserts; chocolate lava cake, key lime pie with raspberry drizzle, baklava, and strawberry cupcake. All of thedesserts were perfect. The service was my only issue. Wait staff seemed to be annoyed by our presence asking for a table.Overall I would go back, but staff need to work on the attitude.

The menu has a wide variety of American food that can be modified for vegan and vegetarian tastes. Their 10 is large enough for two. The Philly Steak is loaded with meat. They have wide variety of local and mico beers. Large selection of wine. Taylor ourwaitress on the spot with water and soft drink refills.
