Hickory Tavern

Entrees: wings and fries, chicken tenders tossed in sauce and cheddar grits. 10/10 the food (not pictured spinach and artichoke dip with tortillas) Service is really mediocre and slacking just a tad. Ordered a beer and it was right next to us at the bar (we are at the high tops next to bar area) and didn’t get it for 10+ minutes, but was staring at it. Many people walked by it and saw it but didn’t want to help out our waitress. No one helps each other here and it is kinda the downfall of this place. Bathrooms need updated and renovated. Atmosphere is nothing fancy but I will say I like the music choices every time I come here. Overall I would recommend but just don’t expect too much.

Great Food and Amazing Service ! I had the Buffalo Chicken Tacos and they were Delicious and the Pub Chips were Hot and Crispy. Emma was our server and was Very Helpful Fast and Professional. We Will Be Back !

Good food. Good server named Krista: Atmosphere pretty good. However, an awfully long wait for a restaurant that was only half full; also not allowed to choose outside table as I was told there was a staff shortage yet some of those same tables were being served...? We sat at the long center common table with others that were either eating at one end or drinking bar drinks at the other-yet not one employee asked us if we wanted anything...? Based on what we encountered everywhere, things should've been explained a little better or differently.

Green beer approved for Saint Patrick’s day and food is tasty as well.

Frequently a favorite place to go. Unusually poor service on 01/27. Noticed the bill was incorrect after we left as I was double charged for a single glass of wine. Didn't return to resolve that as our server was really struggling and I didn't want to make a bad situation worse. At times, no staff were visible. Appeared under-staffed. Left before ordering dinner.
