China Moon - Hickory

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent—from the General Tso Chicken to the fried scallops, I loved everything!

I typically don't order from Chinese restaurants, but this time I tried the scallops and a spring roll with duck sauce, and it was absolutely delicious!

This restaurant can be a bit inconsistent during peak hours; however, the food is always fresh and not overcooked. During slower times, the quality can be somewhat unreliable. We visit about once a week or every two weeks, and we find that their food is much better than many other Chinese places in the area.

They food is good but they cheap with the sauce..I spent 50+ dollar's only got 5 sauce??

We were traveling on I-40 through Hickory and searched Google maps for a restaurant. We made the short trip over to the China Moon. This place seems to be primarily a take-out restaurant, but there were a couple of tables so we decided to eat in. The General Tso?s Chicken was very good and the Shrimp and Vegetables in Garlic Sauce were tasty but light on the garlic. The vegetable rice was delicious, probably one of the best I?ve had.
