Falafil House - Hickory Hills

Ordered the chicken shawarma meal. Very tasty. I’m satisfied. I’m actually eating it right now as I type this and it’s good so I wanted to leave this review before I forgot. I love that the flavor is there but it’s not overly salty like other places. I love 7 gates in countryside their flavor is amazing but I wish they would tone it down on the salt so that’s why I mentioned this. The guy was also very nice! I called ahead and my order was already ready when I got there (5 min drive from where I was which I appreciate because I called so I wouldn’t have to wait. I just wish the meal came with fries though but it was just the wrap and a canned drink, but the food tasted good and the price is reasonable if I compare it to other places. I love that they’re open late, this is actually why I came here. i was looking on google to see what was open and this was one of the very few options, but im glad it was open that I picked this place and I will definitely be coming back to order again and try other foods too :

Authentic falafel! Authentic Arabic and the best in the neighborhood

Good place. Tried it last week based on reviews and I think it deserves the good reviews. The guys working there (which I believe are the owners as well) are so polite, welcoming, and professional. We tried a chicken shawarma sandwich, beef shawarma sandwich, and zinger sandwich. I think they are among the best in the area. The quality of ingredients is pretty good, you can easily tell by look and taste. Few minor suggestions though: shawarma sandwich was a bit dry, so it might help to either add more sauce or probably offer sauce on the side for those who like it to be juicy like me. Also, while Zinger sandwich had the best zinger sauce in town (no one can deny that), the chicken portion could have been a bit larger. Otherwise, this place made it to my top 5 list. I heard their falafel rocks, so I will probably try that next time. Good job guys offering good quality food at these tough times where everything tastes miserable and nothing like before!

I don't normally leave positive reviews, but food was really good. I came about 20min before their closing time, but called ahead to place my order and honestly felt bad cause I know how it is when I was working as a cook back in the day when you got 15 min left on the clock and just want to shut everything down. Needless to say the two cooks made some really good food and it was quick. Im coming here from now on over Baba Saj in Palos. Good work fellas!!!
