This restaurant was decent. The staff were very friendly, and the chips, salsa, and queso were delicious. I ordered the poblano chili, but it tasted more like a typical American dish.

Reliably avoids food and much of it. Service us always excellent. good variety on the menu. Child friendly too. You can't go wrong here.

Mexican cuisine is one of my favorites, and my wife and I had a wonderful experience at Monte Alban. It reminded me of the Mezcal we enjoyed in our youth, which shares the same name and even comes with a worm! I absolutely adore authentic Mexican food. I ordered the Vallarta Especial, while my wife had the Diabla Tacos. Both dishes were fantastic, but the Diabla Sauce was truly exceptional! The atmosphere is really vibrant, with tables featuring beautiful wall paintings and chairs intricately carved with agave designs. There is outdoor seating available, but it was a bit too cool to dine outside at the beginning of April. Make sure to add this place to your list of must-visit restaurants!
