Lucy's Cafe - Hialeah

This is undoubtedly the best cantina in Hialeah. The food is not just delicious, but it’s also less greasy than at many other places. On top of that, they provide free delivery! My grandmother is a huge fan of this restaurant. It's conveniently situated in a lovely shopping plaza with covered parking, so you won’t need to worry about getting wet in the rain. The food is fresh, affordable, and truly excellent. You can't go wrong by choosing this place!

I decided to drop in on a whim to meet some friends for Sunday mimosas and breakfast, and I was really pleased with the experience! First of all, the happy hour mimosas are only $5 and they taste amazing. I went with the white wine version since it suits my taste better, but another friend tried the red and loved it just as much.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to enjoy a tasty and satisfying meal without breaking the bank. The homemade flavors really shine through!

So we were in Hialeah looking for some homemade Cuban food and we came across Lucy's. I ordered the arroz Amarillo with cerdo and my husband ordered the pollo asado with congri and maduros. Let me start off with the portions; HUGE! It's like when your abuela serves you and you say you're not hungry type of portions. The prices are Amazing! $5.99 for the plate. You can't beat that. All in all it's a cute little spot that will remind you of home.
