Denny's - Hialeah

I had a great breakfast experience and was in and out in just 45 minutes. The hash browns could have been better, as they were a bit burnt – probably the worst I’ve had in a while. However, our server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of.

The service was not good at all. The waitress had waited us for a very long time to take the order and the meal also for ever. From what I saw, she had a waitress for a huge area that she was overwhelmed over all the place, she confused the orders of the table next to us, had to be returned to the kitchen, she served French toast, but had not enough syrup for our table. That was probably the worst experience I had in Danny's, which is usually great. I will not visit this Danny anymore

Yesterday I visited Denny with my children and had Maria as my waitress. She was attentive and very nice. Give excellent service and the reason I will give her 5 Atars.

About an hour in, our waitress (I believe her name was Ari) informed us that two items we ordered were unavailable. I would have appreciated this information earlier – perhaps an hour sooner would have been reasonable. Throughout our time there, she checked on us only two or three times. When my friend's food arrived, her hashbrowns were cold. Fortunately, one of her coworkers, a very kind gentleman with a black-haired ponytail, stepped in to assist. When it came time to pay, the waitress charged us for everything, including the items that were unavailable. It took the intervention of her manager at the register for us to finally complete our payment and leave. I’m not suggesting anyone should be fired, but perhaps it would be beneficial to implement more thorough training and consider having additional staff on hand to improve service.
