We were on the way with the bike at the end of the week and have pushed through infall to the gas house krone. so we stopped our bikes and just wanted to eat a little bite before the home trip arrived. in the most beautiful beer garden between darmstadt and frankfurt square, we also welcomed the friendly service. after a short look into the map, we had to find out to our surprise, which is not offered here the usual "bier-unitsbrei", but is familiar with real brewing art from kulmbach. wonderful! the food offer is as admirable as well as thoughtful. not too much, but fresh and at the point. we chose the hand-salted smoked salmon with potato and tasty, my wife chose the summer chicken on leaf salad with tomato mozzarella, olive and freshly picked basilikum. a dream! There's a chef behind the man who understands his craft. which is erased and filled, we had to leave this place of hospitability with heavy hearts, as the journey of home was still underway. the next time, but this is already safe, we plan our bike tour right here and stay in the additionally offered guest rooms. a great place to stay.
With a lot of effort, you have a look at the host room. that's positiw. also the service is friendly and flotted. the prices are attractive. the beer tastes and the atmosphere is quite pleasant, which is well visited locally. to eat at least the wobble sauce one must not put too high demands, that one tastes very much that it has a fond background.
By coincidence we have bumped into this local in Klein-Auheim and have spent a pleasant evening there. we speisten from the day offer gyros with pommes frites (€ 9,90) and salat as well as a rumpsteak with bratkartoffels and salat (€ 14,90). we used soft wheat, kulmbacher pils and an excellent cellar beer at favorable prices (more than in the neighboring tourist steinheim). the service worked very fast, especially the drinks were delivered within seconds, which one did not experience so often and was very enjoyable. the restaurant was well visited on Friday night, some guests picked up dishes to take what speaks for the kitchen. it cooks the husband of the service, which became more friendly in the course of the evening. at the end of our visit we received at the cost of the house mispelchen - see photo. If we're back in the opposite, we'll be eating here again.
