Thyme - Hertsmere

We had a meal here on Christmas Eve whilst staying here visiting friends over the holidays. Have to say for a 'budget ' hotel our meal for 4 was very good in quality, portions and value. I went for the steak which can be hit and miss even in the best of restaurants but this one at Thyme was really very good cooked as requested (and yes the friendly waitress did ask), tender, all edible and a good size. I was very pleased. Favourite wine was listed too and at very keen price, so we won on all levels! Breakfast next morning was also more than adequate and very good value too. We 've stayed here a few nights during the holiday period over quite a few years now and whilst this Premier Inn sometimes is not quite up to scratch, even in this price bracket, the Thyme restaurant never let us down.

I hate eating in Chain restaurants but we were tired and didnt want to go outside the hotel. Was O.K. HAd a Gluten free menu which was good. Otherwise it sufficed for two hungry people.

We ate here as part of our stay at the premier inn the food was well cooked and hot the burgers are to die for very good

We where working close by and had a large party to feed. Staff sorted us out and suggested planning for the second nights meal to speed up the service..

The food at thyme restaurant premier inn potters bar, has always been of excellent standard. The food is delicious and staff are helpful, efficient and friendly . We have dined here many times and our latest visit was fantastic as always.
