The Baker Arms - Hertford

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, the restaurant was empty so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My roast was decent, but my 11-year-old daughter ordered the special of small ribs for £8 and was disappointed to receive only 4 mini ribs that were mostly fat. I had to make her dinner when we got home. The desserts were small portions for the price, resulting in a pricey bill for our meal. It's unfortunate because the pub itself is nice.

Empty due to corona virus so can’t comment on atmosphere. Very nice people, friendly. We had a roast wbich was ok My daughter Aged ordered a small ribs kitchen staff were kind to serve this as it was a weekday special but it was v disappointing- she was given mini ribs which were mainly fat so I then had to cook her dinner on our return home. Puddings were v small portions for the price. A pricey bill for what we had. Shame as nice pub !

My 11-year-old daughter ordered the small ribs for £8 as part of a weekday special. Unfortunately, she was disappointed as she only received 4 mini ribs that were mostly fat, so I had to cook her dinner when we got home. The desserts were small for the price we paid. Our bill ended up being quite expensive for what we received. It's a shame because the restaurant seems like a nice pub.
