Bidrage med feedbackThis is a very popular little restaurant. We did not pre-book on a Friday night, waiting times were between 10 30mins (depending on the table size really requires! . I am glad we waited. We shared a starter of sweet potato croquettes more like Patties, but pleasant. Delicious sauce! For one main I had the Tofu Bentobox and my partner had the pumpkin Katsu Curry. (The rake in Bento is vegan it's an oil lime dressing, not traditional egg Mayo! Both really nice, but next time I want to try all the little plates I think! There was a lot to choose and I think it would be a bit like with Japanese tapas trying to enjoy much smaller dishes. The staff was friendly and pleasant and 2 of three were perfect for understanding veganism. The third wanted to check with the cook / somewhat less confident. But clearly the cook also explained, and she came back sound quite knowledgeable! There would be only two things I would suggest to make this place a solid 4* review, at the moment I would say it 's 3.5. 1. for the menu on the actual list VG (Vegan or VGO (vegan option, if applicable. Just to save this poor waitress that goes back to the chef and save people like me who ask many questions: 2. If the Apple Gyoza are a vegan pudding option, for these are a permanent menu item. Unfortunately, they were not on the menu when we visited. A permanent vegan pudding is the way to my heart; It was a great little find, but I will definitely be back! This little restaurant is very popular. On a Friday night, we didn't make a reservation and had to wait between 10-30 minutes (depending on table size), but it was worth it. We shared sweet potato croquettes for starters, which were more like patties but tasty. The sauce was really delicious! I had the tofu bento box and my partner had the pumpkin katsu curry, both of which were great. The bento box was vegan, with an oil and lime dressing instead of traditional egg mayo. Next time, I want to try all the small dishes, as it seems like a Japanese tapas experience with many options. The staff was friendly and two out of three were very understanding of veganism. The other was a bit less confident and needed to check with the cook, but the cook explained everything well. There are only two things I would suggest to give this place a 4-star rating (currently 3.5 stars): first, to clearly label vegan and vegan option items on the menu to make ordering easier, and second, to consider adding apple gyoza as a permanent vegan dessert option. Unfortunately, they were not available when we visited. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I will definitely be returning in the future.
I recently visited a tapas-style restaurant that offers a variety of menu options, as well as daily specials on a board. They serve a selection of vegan dishes including tofu, seaweed, spring rolls, gyoza, and more. One standout dish I tried was the miso glazed eggplant dish with nuts, which was absolutely stunning and the best I've had in a long time.
