As always, the food is excellent. The service is also top. The team and the boss always laughed well. We can definitely recommend it.

We were just two days on a short holiday in Herten. The Kaiserhof was recommended to us by the hotel and it was so good that we were there on both evenings. The dishes were delicious and fresh. Good kitchen and nice service. We'll be back!

We were with Sandra and Dirk on the second Christmas day. The main dish was really made to the point perfect. The preliminary soup was also excellent, but with the spoon very bad to get out of the jam jars. There was also a potential for the service, which sprayed its “Westphalian charm” (and also a little sauce) in the restaurant which was very well visited at the time. The dessert of the Christmas card had already waited a little for us. But quite understandable on these holidays. The head of the house took care of her guests very nicely. All in all, on “normal days” you can definitely do well here and spend a nice evening. Conclusion: With us and obviously also with many other people, it has almost become a ritual to eat with the family on the second Christmas day. In recent years, however, we have never been really convinced, which is certainly also at the big rush for Christmas and the ever more counterproductive staffing situation. So we decided to break with tradition the next few years and to make the second Christmas day different.
