I have had dinner at the Circular numerous times with my family. I most recently celebrated my birthday there in September and also had dinner with my husband this past May. The new chef has made some amazing changes and we were not only blown away by the food but also the service. It is an experience. We love the Circular!!!!
Not enough superlatives to describe our experience. Our waiter, Adrian, was personable, knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to us. He asked if we were celebrating anything special and we were celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary. He brought us a plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate and accompanied by 2 chocolate-covered strawberries. Nice touch. The food is always second to none. We were sitting by a window overlooking the fountains. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience.
One of the top dining experiences in Pennsylvania, if not the East Coast. World-class cuisine (especially the filet mignon) accompanied by a top-notch wine list.
Very disappointing. I'll keep this brief. Seated at a table missing flatware. Waited 15 minutes for the assistant to the waiter to bring water. Waiter appeared a few minutes later with an apology. We ordered the bread service. Came out with barely enough butter for one roll. Still no flatware and no bread plates. Ordered lobster bisque. It was a bowl of brown gravy. Seriously. Served cold. No spoon. Skip to asking for water 4 times, from several different staff. Rest of the food was poorly prepared. Vastly overrated and overpriced. Under staffed. Teenagers were running the flagship restaurant. No pen to sign the bill. Had to ask for one. Was that a sign?
