Before sanborns cafés were opened in puebla (as in all other Mexican centers) the caffe vaca negra was the caffe. the people met here for a chat and to read papers as they now died in the many or the Italian coffee company. which have taken over in the meantime. but the vaca negra is still there and resists all attacks, with its excellent menu, service and beautifully decorated environments. the prices are competitive and the quality excellent, and perhaps this is one of the reasons why the only sanborn in the city of puebla is among the ugliest and less popular of its kind.

La vaca negra is a chain of cafeterias in puebla, mexiko. I was in the inner city of vaca negra and was not disposed of. mosquitoes are ok, sandwiches and giant hot dogs are very good. they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in an atmosphere that reminds me of old Denny restaurants. waiters are corteous and they make their best to fulfill their expectations. some even speak enough English. tourists come to this place, as it appeals to the quantity that is not too open to local delicacies. do not expect any unusual dishes or an exceptional lunch, simply good, delicious eating at a beautiful place. I want to be back in town.
