Vey's Pub Grille - Hermitage

Food overall was ok. Quesadilla was dry. No lettuce,salsa, ????, or sour cream. Hamburgers not bad. Shrimp taco looked yummy and fried green tomatoes we're good.Family of 8

Courtesy of a listing on Happy Cow, a plant-based food restaurant guide app, we found Vey?s, due to its inclusion of vegan options. And the one my partner had tasted very good, a vegan chicken sandwich. We split an order of fried green tomatoes, which were excellent by themselves, generously breaded and not at all oily, served with (on the side, for my partner's sake) real crab meat, blue cheese dressing, an incredible balsamic vinegar reduction and chives. Well it finally happened. After a dozen or so perfect lunches and dinners Vey?s has disappointed. They must have hired the cooks from Hickory Grille who don?t know the difference between Rare Medium and or Well Done. And the server obviously doesn?t know that a Med Rare as ordered doesn?t look like well well done shoe leather I guess it was leftover from lunch time. It was awful and I was charged Full Price even tho I expressed my dissatisfaction.

Was pretty good. Friendly waitress. Menu options are limited. A bit pricey, but I guess everywhere is lately.

From start to finish, our dining experience was phenomenal! Our service was so friendly and fast but most of all, everything was hot and downright delish. We had the green fried tomatoes (so yummy) and our pork chop and filet were cooked to perfection. The presentation of every dish was served beautifully and you can tell they take pride every time a plate comes out of the kitchen. Cannot wait to come back and try everything else on the menu!
