Bidrage med feedbackI rarely take the time to write reviews but this place was stunning. A converted cowshed as part of Penrhos court (gorgeous listed manor, cottages, pub and cafe/restaurant). We had a drink in the neighbouring Python Inn first which was a pub of dreams, beautifully refurbished with the amount of character and charm you’d want in a pub but rarely get. The lovely landlord explained the incredible rock history of the place and then we took our drinks into the adjoining restaurant for a generous and delicious sunday roast. Thank you I cannot imagine a more perfect setting for our Sunday lunch with friends
I regret to say that despite the great beer, excellent service, and brilliant environment, the food was horrible. If they continue to serve this type of food, I would be surprised if they are still open by the end of the year. It was evident that there was no chef on-site and only a small salad leaf seemed to be made with fresh ingredients. The burger was a solid lump of something compressed!!!! Oh dear, it's a shame as we had high hopes for this pub and drove quite a distance to visit. We will probably stick to places closer to home in the future.
I can honestly say that this is the best burger I have ever had. The quality of the meat was outstanding and cooked perfectly. The fries were also top-notch, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere of the restaurant was unique and added to the overall dining experience. The service was friendly and efficient, making it a truly enjoyable meal.
Our large group discovered this restaurant and enjoyed breakfast there. The staff was excellent and the location was beautiful. We definitely plan on returning!
Terrific food, lovely service and a great location. Dog friendly too. Burgers highly recommended. Good local beer too. Well worth a visit.
