Great sweet bread/cookies. I stopped at many inmates from this place and tried exactly about every cake, cookies, rolls, bread they have. I've never been disappointed. The cookies melt in your mouth, the breads and light and fluffy, the pumpkin and pineapple filled bread are just right! You have certain days when certain breads are available, so you need to know their schedule what is available on what day. But once you know, you will always repair for your daily bread! Great place!

I've been to a lot of different places in the United States and sampled lots of Mexican sweet bread. Mendez Bakery has been the best in my experience. You must place your order in advance, cause the sell out every day.
