La Isabella - Heredia

We had a couples’ dinner of steak. The fresh bread was warm And delicious served with butter, sun dried tomatoes and pistachios cream cheese. My companion had the breaded steak with prosciutto and cheese. Tender and tasty. I had the ribeye cooked perfectly-tender and juicy. Highly recommend.

This is our 2nd meal at Isabela, 2 years after the first. Just as good as the first time. It's Peruvian cuisine. I'd recommend the Shrimp Causa and the Tuna Tiradito, but all other dishes were also very good. In the courtyard of the Marriott Hotel, lovely ambience. Our server was Henry and he was very good. He had recommendations and was very welcoming. This is just a great restaurant.

I went for dinner, the food was very delicious. We started with flame scallops with cheese, they were fantastic. Then I had pescado a lo macho was yummy especially the sauce and my boyfriend had the sirloin steak was amazing cooked perfectly. The place is beautiful and the service is very nice.

This restaurant offers delicious Peruvian cuisine and excellent service. The atmosphere is authentic, and the food is flavorful and beautifully plated, although it may not be as innovative as some contemporary Peruvian restaurants in Peru and other places. The quality is solid, and the presentation is classic. While it may be a bit pricier, it is definitely worth a visit. Randall, our server, provided excellent service.

Gustavo created a magical experience for us and it was a meal we will never forget...can't say enough about his service. The food was spectacular...have been all over Costa Rica for last eight days and this was our favorite meal...thumbs up!!! Thank you Gustavo!!!
