Horvat's Supper Club - HEPBURN SPRINGS

Have heard some good things about the Hobart but it is the first time for us to come here. The bartender Adrian is super friendly. Had some of the house wine shiraz which was surprising nice and tasty as well as the cocktail pimms royal . And the owner Horvat which is the owner is really nice too. Great place tot go for a meal or drink and we will definitely be back for sure! Highly recommend for a great pizza of pasta or a casual drink with friends.

Horvat's, located in the bustling retail district of Daylesford, is just a short distance from many accommodation options. This cozy restaurant provides a perfect setting to savor a flavorful meal while being serenaded by a selection of music. My spouse and I indulged in a delightful feast, accompanied by local beers and wines. We were delighted to observe a nearby table of six engaging in a friendly card game. The live entertainment of a two-piece jazz band added a fantastic touch to our evening. Overall, our experience at Horvat's was thoroughly enjoyable.

New bar in daylesford, staff very friendly, lovely venue. goid selection of wines&coctails. the puzza was very tasty!

The eggplant pizza and the nutella/marshmellow calzone are delicious delicious delicious. The atmosphere was quirky, service excellent, food delicious, fair prices, the wine cold. We will be back!

Horvats has has been in Daylesford for quite some time, although the in its earlier incarnation it was quite a "rough n ready" local establishment, without too many heirs and graces. That said, I did have a great night out with another family of four in its early days.In this new incarnation, the floors are polished, a large bar area, a tabled restaurant area facing the live music stage, and there are even proper amenities. These guys are serious about a proper night out.We made a booking for 7pm and were seated front and centre. We were offered other seating should we find the live music too loud.All tables in the dining area eventually filled, there was a birthday party occupying several adjacent tables.I ordered the gnocchi with beef cheek, my partner having pork terrine. The majority of the menu was Italian fare.My gnocchi was definitely home made and was the best I've had for some time. There were no complaints about the terrine from the other side of the table.The two piece act fired up around 8pm and sang a selection of 60s songs.We ordered holgate beer and glasses of red wine plus a G&T. Priced reasonably.The ambience and music had us stay until the act finished at 10:30. In the 'good old days', they would have kept going,but we live in times where social sensibilities of the few govern for the many.Horvats provides entertainment for the entire evening, for the same price as a meal and drinks elsewhere then home to watch TV.....so if you don't want a traditional end to the evening, Horvats is a great option.
